About the Conference
- The International Union of Scientific and Engineering Associations and Bukhara Technical University invite you to participate in the V International Scientific Conference "MIP: Engineering-V-2025: Advanced Technologies in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, and Automation," scheduled for June 19-21, 2025. This event will be held simultaneously in Krasnoyarsk, Russia, and Bukhara, Uzbekistan.
Conference Objectives
MIP: Engineering-V-2025 aims to facilitate the exchange of expertise among leading specialists in the application of high-tech and information technologies across various industrial sectors. The conference will focus on aerospace, energy, and chemical engineering, as well as materials science, metallurgy, new materials design, and process engineering and automation.
Participants
We welcome scientists and specialists from universities, academic institutions, enterprises, design and research centers from Russia and abroad to contribute to this important international scientific event.

The MIP: Engineering series: Modernization, Innovations, Progress: Advanced Technologies in Material Science, Mechanical and Automation Engineering has evolved into a significant international forum for the exchange of scientific and technological advances in materials science, mechanical engineering, automation, and related fields.

- Event: International Workshop "Advanced Technologies in Material Science, Mechanical and Automation Engineering - MIP: Engineering-2019"
- Dates & Venue: April 4–6, 2019, Krasnoyarsk, Russia, within the 24th International Scientific Open Conference "Modern Informatization Problems."
- Purpose: To share achievements in advanced scientific, innovative, and information technologies in materials science, mechanical, aerospace, chemical, ecological, and power engineering, as well as automation for Industry 4.0.
- Scope: Attracted participants from 14 countries besides Russia, including Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Nigeria, Germany, USA, Kazakhstan, Vietnam, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, China, Egypt, Uzbekistan, Slovenia, and Finland.
- Program: Included keynote and plenary talks, five main sections, and lively discussions, especially in cybernetics and the organization of mechanical engineering production.
- Submissions: Over 650 reports were submitted; 406 were selected after rigorous peer review.
- Event: II International Conference “MIP: Engineering-2020: Modernization, Innovations, Progress: Advanced Technologies in Material Science, Mechanical and Automation Engineering”
- Dates & Venue: April 16–18, 2020, Krasnoyarsk, Russia.
- Purpose: Continued focus on advanced technologies in materials science, mechanical, aerospace, chemical, ecological, and power engineering, and automation for Industry 4.0.
- International Scope: Participants from 13 countries besides Russia, including Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Vietnam, Palestine, China, Uzbekistan, Turkey, and Tajikistan.
- Adaptation to COVID-19: The conference was held in a hybrid format, with both in-person and online sessions to accommodate travel restrictions.
- Program: Five sections covering material science, automation, chemical and ecological engineering, information reliability, and cybernetics.

- Event: IV International Conference on Modernization, Innovations, Progress: Advanced Technologies in Material Science, Mechanical and Automation Engineering (MIP: Engineering-IV-2023)
- Dates & Venue: April 12–30, 2023, Krasnoyarsk, Russia.
- Organization: International and Russian Union of Scientific and Engineering Associations, Krasnoyarsk Science and Technology City Hall, Siberian Scientific Centre DNIT, Saint Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation, and others.
- Purpose: To share leading experiences in science-intensive and information technologies for industrial production, space, energy, chemical engineering, metallurgy, and automation.

1. Submission
- Authors submit their papers according to the official conference template and guidelines.
- All submissions must be original, unpublished, and written in clear English.
2. Assignment to Reviewers
- The conference’s Program Committee, led by the Program Chair, assigns each paper to expert reviewers based on their research interests and expertise.
- Reviewers are selected to avoid conflicts of interest and ensure fair evaluation.
- Each paper is reviewed by at least one qualified expert, though typically two or more reviewers are assigned.
- Reviewers evaluate the submissions based on:
- Originality and novelty
- Scientific and technical soundness
- Clarity of presentation
- Relevance to the conference topics
- Overall contribution to the field
- Reviewers provide detailed feedback and recommendations (accept, revise, or reject).
- The Program Committee considers all reviewer comments and makes the final acceptance decisions.
- Authors are notified of the decision:
- Accepted: The paper may require minor revisions.
- Revision required: Authors are invited to improve their paper and resubmit for further review.
- Rejected: The paper cannot be included in the proceedings.
- If revisions are requested, authors must address reviewer feedback and resubmit their updated manuscript.
- Revised papers are checked by the reviewers or editors to ensure all concerns have been addressed.
- Accepted and finalized papers are compiled for publication in the Proceedings.
- All participants in the process are expected to adhere to high ethical standards.

Conference Venue
- The Conference will take place in Bukhara Engineering Technological Institute, 15, MURTAZAEV street, Bukhara, Uzbekistan.
We will provide the participants with visa support documents (an official letter of invitation). We will be glad to help with accommodation in cozy and hospitable hotels of Bukhara at special prices to all participants during the conference by priory arrangement. Accommodation and travel expenses are paid by sending organizations.

Paper Submission for IOP
- The Proceedings of the Conference are planned to be published in Journal of Physics: Conference Series.
The open access IOP Conference Series provides a fast, versatile and cost-effective proceedings publication service for your conference. Key publishing subject areas include: physics, materials science, environmental science, bioscience, engineering, computational science and mathematics.
To be published in the Conference proceedings the papers should meet the following requirements.
Submission guidelines:
• Papers should be in the English language.
• Paper size is European A4.
• Margins are 4cm (top), 2.5cm (left and right) and 2.7cm (bottom).
• The paper includes the author name and affiliation (full address including country).
• There are no page numbers, or headers and footers, within the paper.
• Text is single spaced, not double spaced.
• All pages are portrait (landscape pages should be rotated).
• Reference lists are checked for accuracy. References can only be linked via Crossref if they are correct and complete.
• Figures are placed within the text, not collected at the end of the document.
• A thorough proofread is conducted to check the standard of English and ensure wording is clear and concise.
All authors submitting the papers for publication in IOP conference series are assumed to accept the terms of IOP Proceedings Publication Licence.
Basic Review
All papers will come through the basic review which is an initial technical criteria check (paper field, structure of submission, adherence to the submission instructions, English language usage and a check for the similarity rate). Any papers out of the scope or containing plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, are rejected.
Peer Review
We use a double-blind system for peer review; both reviewers' and authors' identities remain anonymous. The submitted papers will be reviewed by at least two experts: one editorial staff member as well as one to three external reviewers. The review process may take about 10 days. The reviews will be conducted to the professional and scientific standards
Notification of the Result of Review
The decision to accept or reject the paper is based on the suggestions of reviewers. Acceptance notifications will be sent to the registered author. IOP proceedings licence as well as all notifications about submitting the papers to IOP, publication at the IOP proceedings series will be sent to the authors' e-mails.
Registration Fee Is Paid
After acceptance the authors need to pay the registration fee, and upload the final version of the papers according to the registration instructions. Once the papers have been sent to IOP Publishing, the papers cannot be changed or deleted.

Presentation requirements
All conference papers accepted to the Conference will be presented in one of the formats (face-to-face, virtually, poster presentation). While submitting a paper, it is necessary to indicate the format, in which it will be presented. Authors can use the presentation template for their presentation.
